Corinth Holders Students, Compete at Judging in February
Lanie Strickland, Ally Edwards, Marcy Price, Madison Massey, Heather Kirby
The purpose of the Judging in February Contest is to allow students the opportunity to judge livestock prior to the FFA livestock judging contest in April. The Judging in February Contest is presented by the NC Hereford's Association and is hosted at the NC State Beef Unit. Students spent the morning judging several breeds of livestock, cattle, swine, goats and sheep. Enjoyed a nice meal. Then in the afternoon some of our members presented reasons, while our first time judges went to a reasons workshop. This event is usually held in January, however due to weather the event was delayed until Feb. 20th. Students did very well at the contest, however at the present time, we do not have their official placings.
